Interview with Romeo Young
Reporter: Hey Romeo Young, glad to see you. How has the year been treating you?
Romeo Young: It's been great, I got to spend time with my family for a couple of weeks. I also got to coach for a few days in this Basketball Youth Camp. But after I flew back to L.A. for my training. Theres alot of good teams out there and I don't want to fall behind.
R: Well, have you got a chance to meet any of your new teammates?
RY: Well I have met Manny Akhtar. We have a good friendship ever since we got to hang out. We had lunch the other day as a matter of fact. He's a very laidback guy. Not many like him. He told me he was excited to get a chance to play with me. And that coming out of a player like him says alot.
R: Yeah, you have grown alot since entering the league, and your skills on the court show that.
RY: Yeah, I'm happy with my progess. I also got a chance to meet Mike Jones and Paul Wall. Both in a workout at the Golds Gym. They are real fine athletes. I was really impressed because they are just unheard players. They might even be better than me *laughs*

R: Well looks like you got alot of talent on your team. What teams looks like they will give you some trouble?
RY: Well I think mostly the Nati Thugs. Mostly because they are just as athletic as our team. I like they way they fit together. But I know we can take them.
R: I know you weren't drafted but you were signed as a FA.
RY: Yeah well I was a late entry. I guess teams didn't draft me because they didn't get a chance to see me play. I didn't do any workouts with any team, so no one new how good I was. But I'm with harlem now, so I'll get a chance to shine.
R: Well thanks for your time Romeo, I'll be foward to watch your games.
RY: Thanks alot and thanks for having me.
